EVERFI EdComs

EVERFI EdComs is a marketing & training service provider with 35 years combined experience in education. EdComs offers a platform-based learning on topics such as financial education, STEM, wellbeing and social and emotional wellbeing. Additional services offered by EdComs includes bespoke educational programme development including content development, film, workshops and live events, design, digital development and marketing. EdComs’ work reaches learners of all ages, empowering people and transforming communities.

EdComs joined the BCB Incubator programme in 2019. Through the BCB’s flexi-desk option, EdComs uses technology to provide education at scale to connect businesses and education as well as helping organisations and government to connect with education.

Outcomes for Client

EdComs has managed to secure a number of contracts and presently working with leading UAE-based entities including DP World & Expo 2020. Establishing a local presence in the UAE has enabled EdComs to deliver key activities for their clients such as driving social impact through education, engagement with community, image building/perception change, skills development and empowerment for young people, behaviour change and influencing education and outcomes.

NobleProg joined the BCB Incubator scheme in 2018 and have established quickly in Dubai. The BCB provided a flexi-desk for their UAE based representative and the required employment visa and additional support for their presence in the UAE.

NobleProg has secured multiple contracts with marque clients (Majid al Futtaim, Huawei and others across the GCC) and has been able to develop at a pace by having a local presence, supported by the BCB.

Shearer Candles

Shearer Candles is the UK’s longest established lifestyle candle company set up in 1897. Their candles are hand-made in Glasgow and supplied over the world to both wholesale trade and retail customers.

The BCB set up meetings with eight department stores, premium supermarkets as well as distributors for both retail and hospitality. Further to the visit to the UAE, Shearer Candles contracted the BCB to follow up on the leads generated.

Outcomes for Client

Shearer Candles is now stocked in the UAE with Galeries Lafayette, one of the largest department stores in the region, as well as a few other smaller stockists.
