Good Morning
In our recent updates we’ve put lots of focus on what’s happening in Saudi Arabia; by the simple metric of clicks and opens, we can see that this has been particularly popular. We’ve also received lots of follow up on these from companies looking for help to understand, approach and advance in KSA.
Continuing that theme, this month we look at a couple of very different angles that Saudi might look at in the near future as it continues its march towards Vision 2030 and beyond.
Dan writes about the prospect of KSA moving to the ‘western’ Saturday-Sunday weekend and how this might impact and benefit the economy there, following the UAE’s switch on January 1st 2022.
Also following the UAE, where Dubai has allowed international freehold property investment since 2002, Maaz explores the possibilities of Saudi opening its property market to overseas buyers and what this might mean for the kingdom.
And bringing the spotlight back to the UAE, Maciej outlines some of the big infrastructure and development projects that are already planned and underway: Dubai’s new airport, Al Maktoum International, will be fives times bigger than Dubai International Airport!
